At the EAPC tankfarm in Ashkelon at berth no. 2 fuel oil for the Israel Electric Company's power stations is loaded and unloaded. The berth can accommodate tankers of up to 80,000 DWT. The fuel oil tankfarm has two tanks with a nominal capacity of 57,000 cu.m. each. The tanks also have the necessary heating facilities for handling heavy grades of fuel oil.
